August 15th, 2012Jay Dickens Racing Engines Customers Claim Big Wins
Aberdeen, MS (08/15/12) – The past few weeks have seen Jay Dickens Racing Engines (JDRE) customers claiming big wins across the country.
Don O'Neal from Martinsville, Indiana leads the way with a $50,000 payday in the 30th Annual North/South 100 at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on August 11th. He also registered a $10,000 payday in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) action at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland) on July 28th. His win total for the year now sits at fourteen.
Defending Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) Champion and current point leader, John Anderson continues to have a great season in his #2 Shop Quick/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model. On August 11th he claimed a $3,000 win in an NCRA/MLRA sanctioned event at Junction Motor Speedway (McCool Junction, Nebraska), and he also won on August 3rd in an NCRA/MARS sanctioned event at Eagle Raceway (Eagle, Nebraska). He has conquered six events thus far into the season.
While he may have struggled early in the year Ray Moore from Shreveport, Louisiana has been on fire over the past month with three straight wins in his #93 Moore Wireline/MB2 Customs/JDRE-powered Super Late Model. On July 27th-28th he claimed a pair of wins with the Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) series at Battleground Speedway (Highlands, Texas), and on August 11th he powered to the $2,500 win with the SUPR tour at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). He now has five wins on the season.
Brooks Strength from Byram, Mississippi is batting a perfect game in 2012 in his the #911 Super Street/Jay Dickens Racing Engines entry. He won at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on August 4th, and he also claimed the win at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on August 11th. He is now perfect on the season in winning seven races in seven starts.
Bub McCool from Vicksburg, Mississippi continues to lead the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model Rookie of the Year battle in his #57J Victory Circle by Moyer/Jay Dickens Racing Engine entry.
JDRE customer, Kevin Sitton from Baytown Texas continued his strong season by registering a $2,500 win with the Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) on July 21st at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas). The victory was his third of the 2012 campaign.Klint Byars from Carrolton, Mississippi ended his winless streak on August 11th by topping the action in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in his #5 K&K Motorsports/Victory Circle by Moyer/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model.
Derrick Fisher stormed to the Super Late Model feature win at 191 Speedway (Campton, Kentucky) on Saturday night in his #38 JDRE-powered Super Late Model.
Chad Stapleton from Edinburgh, Indiana rolled to another feature win on Saturday, August 3rd at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) in his #32 Rocket/JDRE Super Late Model. The win was his seventh of the 2012 season.
Shep Lucas powered his #57 Trak-Star/JDRE Super Late Model to the win on August 4th at Flomaton Speedway (Flomaton, Alabama).
